Featured Mid-Century Modern Home Staging Case Study — Lido Shores
Designed by renowned architect William Rupp in 1965, this Lido Shores residence is a remarkable example of Sarasota School architecture. Rather than a traditional vacant staging installation, this project involved redesigning and refining the homeowners’ existing furnishings to better showcase the home’s architectural character and luxury lifestyle appeal.
iStage Homes carefully edited the existing furniture plan, removing select pieces, repositioning key furnishings, and introducing select complementary pieces to strengthen sight lines, improve flow, and highlight the home’s connection to the outdoors. Particular attention was given to the main living area and the dramatic backyard perspective through the home’s expansive glass walls, where every furnishing was intentionally placed to support the architecture rather than compete with it.
The result was a presentation that honored the home’s mid-century heritage while helping prospective buyers immediately understand its lifestyle and design significance. The property ultimately sold to the first buyer who toured the home.
